Stay with Square Invoices
- You already invoice inside Square and that is enough.
- You do not need several companies on one EZ Invoice login, ZIP tax, or a one-way push to QuickBooks Online or Xero.
EZ Invoice vs Square Invoices
EZ Invoice can check clients out through Square, Stripe, or PayPal. Square stays the processor. Square Invoices’ public pricing stays on their page.
| Topic | Square Invoices | EZ Invoice |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Verified figure to be added. | One plan: $15 / month or $149 / year. Every feature is included. |
| Free tier | Verified figure to be added. | No free plan. Confirm your email, then start the one plan — every feature is on. |
| Companies in one login | Verified figure to be added. | Color tabs for each business, one login and one subscription. |
| Sales tax | Verified figure to be added. | Tax only where you have nexus. The rate is the client’s city and county from their ZIP. |
| Push to QuickBooks Online and Xero | Verified figure to be added. | One-way push of invoices, payments, and expenses to QuickBooks Online and Xero. We never pull. Later edits here do not update the copy already in the ledger. Deleting an invoice here leaves it there. |
| Payment options | Verified figure to be added. | Clients pay through Stripe, Square, or PayPal. |
| Cut of your payments | Verified figure to be added. | We do not take a cut when a client pays by card. Processor fees stay with Stripe, Square, or PayPal. |
| Cloud export | Verified figure to be added. | Send the PDF or export to the Drive, OneDrive, or Box folder you connected. |
| Time tracking | Verified figure to be added. | Log hours against a client or job, then put them on the invoice. |

Switch to EZ Invoice
Use Square as the card checkout. Keep the invoice, the tax, and the companies here.
All comparisons. Also see Jobber / Housecall Pro and the switch checklist.
Stay with Square Invoices if invoicing inside Square already covers the work. EZ Invoice uses Square as one way to take a card — next to Stripe and PayPal — and keeps the invoice, the companies, and the tax here. It is not a Square POS, and it is not a second set of books.
Create an account, confirm your email, and you are in. $15 / month or $149 / year.
